I had to replace these in the end as when I was changing the shocks I couldnt find a way of getting the balljoints seperated with out doing this...

Thats what happened when I used the fork type ball joint seperator... Also just for peoples future reference, the pivot bolts that are bolted through the LSA/Wishbone into the subframe are a right pain to get off... A blow torch will help a great deal when removing them and dont forget to get the bolts lubed up when you come to reinstall them, will make life a lot easier if you have to change them again in the future...

to get the ball joint off without damaging the rubber, try a long bar on the arm and wedged under the car, get someone to stand on the bar and then hit the bit the ball joint goes through the hub with a hammer. Works for me

have tried the arm type as well ball joint splitters, but cant get them on the top because of the CV joint.

Mind you if changing the arms anyway the fork type will do

the way i do it , is if you hit the hub where the ball joint goes into the hub it releases quite quickly ,its because youre shocking the seat
