Brakes while off the road for the winter
Does anyone know how I can stop my brake discs from rusting and my brakes siezing while the car is off the road for the winter, its going to be off for about 6 months, the discs are only a few month old and dont want to be buying more when its time to come back on the road
If it's not broke, fix it until it is...........

take them off or cover them up, I dont use my handbrake over the winter, just remember to clean what ever you put on them off before you drive it again

cover them in grease mate!

Take the pads out and spray the discs with WD40 or similar. Bit fiddly doing the backs due to the shields.
