Brake system dashboard warning light.

Hi

My brake system dashboard warning light has come on. However the ABS light is OFF. I have checked the brake fluid reservoir - normal level, checked the brake pad pressure pistons - no sign of any leaks and the brakes work normally. Any suggestions of what could be the trouble.

I have a picture / video of the light but I do not know how to attach it to the post.

Problem solved. The warning light referred to a brake light failing, not a brake system failure - Changed the bulb - warning light went off.
