Steering wobble when accelerating

Had been driving quite a while today, and on the way home, I suddenly noticed my steering wheel wobbling when I accelerate lightly. It is dead straight/normal when not on the gas or breaking.
Also, when turning full lock left or right, or near it, I could hear a clicking noise.
I got it home, but obviously dont want to drive it.
Any ideas? someone suggested it could be a bearing in my steering rack.
TIA

i think it could be your cv joint as it is quite common on the cavalier/calibra.
sometimes they just run dry after the boot gets split and that is when you start to hear the noises, but also general wear and tear can make the bearings "square" off and cause the cv to break itself apart.
i've known people drive around for months with no bad consequences, but i would advise that if it is the cv joints to get them replaced as it isn't a big job even for a amateur mechanic
