i went along to a tyre fitters to get my N/S/R swapped for the O/S/F
i new there was a bit of inside wear as advised by vauxhall 2 weeks ago (slight wear) was what i was told,,
well
the tyre fitters today said they would not change the tyre as it was far too worn,,. he was right, it had went right down on the inside edge, about 1 inch of the tyres bald..
so i`m gona have to fit my spare as it is of similar tread wear but,,
my cars on standard shocks but its sitting well out,,, 1st time i had really noticed it,, can the rear camber be adjusted..????????
i`m guessing its the 17" wheels that have changed the footing,,, but i dont really know why!
HHHHHEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you need a camber correction kit for the rear if its lowered toadjust the camber,
The inside edge of the back tyres will wear more , as you accelerate hard the rear of the car drops as the car does a wheelie (mine does anyway!), as the car drops at the rear the tyres wear on the inside edges due to the increased camber when pushed down by the acceleration

have you had the camber measured? the et won't throw the camber out THAT much, if its out that much then you either have saggy old springs, or snapped springs, or it IS lowered.. a lot of springs will look standard after a few years of grime etc.. eibach etc look standard out the box near enough.. they're grey not bright pink etc lol..
get the camber measured first, see how bad it is.

Agreed that looks standard height..
Did you put the tyres on? or could they have been worn on a different car even?
get a picture from the rear of the camber, but yes get them measured, is like wheel alignment only they do a full geometry to get camber as well as toe etc on all 4 wheels. this way you should eb able to see why they've worn. it's not solely the wheels imo.

Those numbers have et35 in there - meaning the offset is et35 - that's waaay too far out. You need et42-49.
The reason that they're wearing is that because your wheels are sitting out further than they should be, that compunds the effects on the camber.
There are machine shops that will shave down the contact face of the wheel by Xmm to get the offset right. Look for "precision engineers" on yell.com and one near you will do it - the place near me charges £30 for 4 wheels so its well worth it for the money.
Apart from the offset being wrong, you should really be ok with camber (until you lower it). The only real way to solve it is to get an adjustable camber kit (about £180 IIRC) and get it set up properly, but you only NEED to do that once its lowered.
Like I say, get the offset right, and your wear will be even once more
Hope that helps.

dont know how many bushes I got as Gavin at wallace fitted mine ...but these where the fixed ones not the adjustable ones
I think the ones that go in the outer part of the rear arm (they are just at the rear sill where it ends) have four, where as teh one sI had fitted which are the inner ones are only two
If that makes sense
