Suspension travel question
A couple of years ago I lowered my 8v by 40mm on Gmax. However, I had 18's wearing a 45 profile so with people in the car (or without for that matter) the tyres fowled on the arches when driving in general.
So, what I can't decide is this:
Do I go for a 30mm drop? Or will this still rub with people in the car?
Or I could get 30mm drop turbo springs - these are stiffer, and so would withstand more weight?
What do you folks think?

Add some coil spring assisters first and see how you get on...bout £20 quid tops a pair on ebay depending on the coil space. You'll need to measure the space between the centre of the coil and then get a pair relating to that size...approx 30 mil on rears. It should stop the full travel on the spring and hopefully avoid the rubbing. Then re-assess if still fouling the arches.

Guys, thanks for your responses, BUT (there's always got to be one)
the problems are: 1, I sold the 40mm lowering springs, and bought new standard springs. (it was a desparate measure as it was xmas) So I have no lowering springs to start with.
2, The tyres cost me £130 a corner and are brand new. Springs are cheaper than tyres, hence my decision to change springs in the first place when the problem occurred.
