uneven suspension
changed one of my front shocks for one from the scrappy now my cars uneven i can get 2 fingers between tyre and arch pass side and 3 on drivers side and you can tell visually will it settle down over a couple of days

The if the shock is roughtly the right height it should be the same level as the shock is going to be partially withtracted by the weight of the engine. height issues should be spring related only.
Have you actually moved the car yet? it might just settle when you let the handbrake off and roll it back forth a bit.
The other problem swapping just one, gas v's oil shocks, if ones leaked a bit and not got such high gas pressure it might not "lift" the car so high. do they feel the same "weight" when you try to bounce each corner?
tbh fitting just one shock of "some cav" isnt a good plan, at least fit them in pairs. but you really ought to know if its the right one or not. part numbers on the insert would help there.
