Camber...

I noticed the inside edge/shoulder of my rear tyres on my standard calibra turbo were looking pretty worn. Its not lowered at all, any ideas what could be causing it?

Would advise getting a 4 wheel alinement check mate. The standard set up on the rear is not adjustable but you can get the camber correction kits which can be adjusted. I've just pick a set up from OZ beleive it or not and only cost me £90 inc P&P. Check the aussie ebay under Holden calibra. The other thing maybe that the last owner has swap the front to the rear as people normaly only check the front tyres when buying so the problem maybe at the front.

Are you breaking the old calibra think i may need an ecu

Yes Adam

I was gonna say the rears aren't adjustable. So if its out, then the cause of it could be a bend something: suspension arm, worn noints and ...

Or it could easily have been the last owner reotating it from front to rear and not noticing the wear.

Get a tracking done, if the rear is out, you need to find out why. Don't just buy a correction kit to sort it out. if something is bent, then needs replacing.

If you then lower it, you WILL need a camber correction bush/kit. But don't expect to get much for the bush. All you get is a bush with the centre not in the centre and its bloody expensive!

Cheers

ET38, also 2cm wider than the stock so sticking out an extra 11mm but 20mm wider so will be close to stock i think

well thats ok then as the inner edge is the bit that causes problems when lowering etc with varying rolling radius etc.
