How low is my Calibra?

by Morphosis » Mon Jun 05, 2006 10:25 am

I got my new Calibra on Fri and have had great trouble getting over speed humps! :frown: I've been told it looks like it has been lowered but I got no paperwork with the car to say by how much. How do I tell how much it has been lowered by? How much approximatly would it cost to put it back to standard height? Can it be done with the lowered suspension springs on it, or will it need new springs, etc?

there is un undershield on the car and the catches i took mine off and i clear the car, you should have roughly 5inches of ground clearance

Where is the undershield and how do you take it off? The exhaust seems to be hanging low, about 5 inch clearance tho.

its under the engine bay. can u see the ground if you look down between the engine and the front bumper. is there a kit on the car. would be suprised that your having trouble if its only the standard body unless its been lowered a crazy amount. mines lowered 60mm and ive a kit so ive less than 4" clearance on the front. still manage to make it over speed bumps doh.
