My Tyres...... all wrecked!!!

Off come the 17's!!!

So it looks like I'm coming to Billing on my STANDARD 15" ALLOYS :sob:

Oh well I hope my mates can get my new set of tyres in time BUT can anyone suggest how to stop the Cally wearing em out so quick (all the insides wearing big time and rest of tyre perfect!!!) Gotta get this sorted I think before I lower the car.

So I suppose the question is Which camber kits are any good and how easy are they to fit?

(This tyre games getting toooo expensive. )

if the cars in not lowered, then you must have tracking problems ..could be the Bush's are also worn. Mine has the big donunt bush on the rear changed and it made a difference to the tyre wear on the back

but mine is also lowered and has the camber correction Bush's fitted on the trailing arms (not the dial one but the fixed ones)

new front lower arms and the Bush's on the back might be the way for you if wearing tyres as well

Thats what's next Fraz, two front arms and see if I can get the front tracked in. Although the front tyres are not half as bad as the rears.

You say big donut bush on the rears Fraz, are these the ones in front of the rear wheels just underneath or are they at the top of the suspension and can you tell me where you got your fixed bushes from on the trailing arms (cos I think it's the dial ones that I've heard the trouble about.)

yup the ones that attach the rear subfarme..just right at the bottom of the back cill

got the Bush's from Gavin Wallace, he also fitted them as well. Mind those Bush's are only meant to help cars lowered 25 mm.Can also get them from Vauxhall I think, as they had them on the DTMs and like that came lowered from factory with 25 mm lowered suspension(Irmscher bushs)

Right two boyz trying to get me some new tyres now On a Sunday! :icon_mrgr

I'm gonna go for them Irmscher ones then cos the cars only getting a 35mm drop if I can, failing that it's gonna have to be 40. (Sure I can source 35's)

Thanks Fraz, rep left.
