Front caliper hex/allen bolt size ?
Can someone tell me what size the hex/allen type bolts are in the front calipers (8V if it makes any difference).
I've had a set of front pads in the garage for ages and was going to change them today, but my biggest allen key was still a shade too small to fit the bolt head, (and the key doesn't have any markings on it to tell me what size it is, guess I could measure it).
thanks,

I dont know what size they are to take the whole caliper off but the bolts under the rubber caps are 7mm IIRC, also, it's easier to change the pads by just taking that bit off IMO<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Just for the pads for now at least, (tho at some point I wanna take the whole caliper off and give it a good clean, paint etc...).
It was the ones under the rubber dust caps I was looking at. My largest allen key must be 6mm then, cos it was 'just' too small.
Tim, that was my next thought, probably get one from Halfrauds tommorow anyway, got a nice big breaker bar for future removal.
