help guys,

just got back from shops in the V6, when going very slowly getting loud creaking from o/s front wheel. this gets quieter as you speed up, seems to me like wheel bearing..... how big a job is this? do i need special kits etc?

thanks

Not sure if its a wheel bearing if its a creaking noise, sounds more like a suspension component has failed or the wheel bolts need torquing up...

Best way to check a wheel bearing is jack the car up and see if theres any play in the wheel by rocking it, also spin it and listen for any unusal noises... The hardest part of a wheel bearing change is the pressing in and out of the bearing, get yourself a haynes manual, all we be explained...
