Lowering my Cally

by calibra_lee » Tue Nov 13, 2007 2:29 pm

Hi everyone, i'm new on here and am going to lower my calibra.

Is there a post/thread on here that takes you through the process of lowering your car including pics?

Also what mount is it best to lower the car by as i have just bought some 17" alloys with a 45mm offset.

Cheers

cheers tazz i live in brum so i dont know how far that is from you.

Also when you buy aftermarket lowring springs does it level out the ride height as they tend to sit higher at the rear on standard springs.

40mm is pretty much what you need for 17s, any lower and its gonna become a really hard ride...

If you're wanting to do it yourself, get a haynes manual, thats what I used to do mine... ITs also worth replacing some of the other parts while you have the struts off, ie Lower suspension arms, anti-roll bar links and track rod ends...
