Do Irmscher numberplate surrounds fit inside Irmy panel?

I want to use these...

Within the Irmscher / Hella type rear light panel (bit between rear lights)

Can anyone confirm it will fit?

Just popped out and measured the flat plate area on mine.
it's 540 x 150mm.

Thanks! I've seen a pic of the two fitted over on migweb and I'm not a fan. Think I'll just stick with the bit between the lights!
