Klima Automatic conditioner

I have found some pictures, where calibra has a full digital Klima Automatic.
What mudels have this equipment ? Where can I find these systems? In mobile.de or autoscout24 or ebay there are NONE either systems or cars.
Basically. I want to know its history.




I also checked clubcalibra.com forum.
There is a topic about klimate systems and some people mentioned that their calibras are brought from Italy and their cars have this system installed in.

This car is in Germany.
That IS NOT a Calibra's Climate Controll system !
THis is an Audi's original climate control put into a Calibra.
Equaliser is taken from Ford Probe.

The Calibra system is also installed in Audi 80 models.
The exact system with the panel from the first picture.
In later Audi 80 models the newer system is installed that is also installed in the Audi A6.

The system in the Calibra from Germany is the newer generation off the original system in the Calibra.
Probably there where the compatibility comes from.

I agree, that these LCD system I have brought out in the first post, are used Also in Audi B4.
But I DISAGREE, that this is the Calibra original KLimate system, what is on the germany calibra.

Have you ever heard about fiberglass and EPO?
I am working with these materjals every single day and so is my brother. Making that plasticpanel where that Audi new climate LCd is fitted, is the worlds easiest job. When sb wants, then i am willing to make them that for some small amout of cash, a calibras original contitioners plasticpanel and I need to borrow that audis climate lcd. Without that i could not do the propable panel where the audis lcd fits perfectly. I am also willing to paint it in chamber.

Its smthing like thar, but I have the better equipment and materials.

You misunderstood.

In the Audi 80 they used the same diavia system as the used in the Calibra.
Off course with different panel because the Calibra shaped heater unit would not fit an audi.

FYI,

I have checked both the Italian and German versions and its not standard. It's a mod maybe from the 80 or wherever. It looks pretty naff TBH. I do like the original Cav2000 LCD though! Shame ProjektLCD is no longer trading. I would have gone for that once my rebuild is complete.

project lcd Tacho did not sell the original LCD dash (apart from a few he bought) what they sold was mostly the Astra GTE dash modified to fit the Calibra

with the amount of work to make that fit a rhd car i would have thought there are nicer digi air con controls out there that could be cut and made to fit
