Removal of front seats

I was unbolting the front passenger seat when i saw a red plastic tag and on the seat it said warning insert red tag before removal of seats. my battery is currentley dead as the car is off the road atm and just wondered if you do have to insert it before taking them out?

Battery and pretensioners are not connected, but you still need to insert the plastic fork for safety :)

ok when im putting the seats back in do i have to remove the fork ?

Yes, otherwise the pretensioners won't work in the event of an accident.
