Looking to buy
Hello members,
I have just joined ClubCalibra as I am looking at becoming a long term Calibra owner.
I last drove a Calibra 30 years ago. It was belong to my boss at the time and he let me use it anytime I was on an errand for the company. I loved it and promised myself that I would get one 'soon'.
'Soon' became 30 years and now - 4 children later (I have them nearly all reared and fending for themselves) - I am getting back to looking after 'me'.
I am finally going to get the Calibra that I promised myself.
But I live in Ireland and the choices are very limited here, so likely I will have to import - and am on the look for a RHD model, so more than likely from the UK
If any of you are selling or know of someone selling a suitable Calibra - I am all ears - please let me know.
I'm not looking for performance as such. I'm not a serious petrol-head - I just always loved the Calibra, so I'm looking for good condition (and definitely rust free), non-turbo, running well Plain Jane Calibra. - Colour is not overly relevant and would be ok if paintwork is not pristine - well maintained is more relevant with a good service history. 1994 to 1996 Ideally, a higher up SE model would be great -But not hung up - just eager to get my hands on a good clean one. Not looking for a project at this time.
Would be delighted to hear from you guys if anyone is thinking of parting with their baby and want it to go to a good owner. Or if you know of one coming available.
