Just thought some of you would appreciate this link.
Not seen many people running these but should be a good modification to reduce play in the steering!

Ive been looking at these....anyone now got them, how easy are they to fit and is there a good improvement with them?

They are easy to fit, just press them in and out. Took me about 3 minutes each side.
And yes it was a brilliant different. It eliminated about 80% of the play in the steering.

Did you fit them with the arms on the car or taken off?....they sound good though
Re: Sharpen up your steering - poly track rod bushes £24 inc
Yeah I did, but I had the arms off anyway to be fair.
Not sure you'd manage it in-situ as you need a press ideally. Having said that, a G-clamp with a socket might do it (something like a 19mm looks about right size)

Just wondering on fitment...haynes says to use a new locking plate on the inner tie rod bolts and new nyloc nuts on the track rod ends.....is is 100% necessary?

Mate you are always meant to replace nyloc nuts once you
take them off.

Ok, but what about the locking plate?
Re: Sharpen up your steering - poly track rod bushes £24 inc
usually the locking late will snap at one or more points, so if your that worried you should change it

The ones you have are for the anti-roll bar links Eddey...the ones we are on about are for the steering, they fit the inner tie tod, connected to the rack
