Just popped in to see if you have missed me

I am stuck in Spain due to the ash cloud, don't know when we will be flying home

i don't watch much news as its depressing but i thought that had been and gone as my brother just came back from Egypt

My parents are flying back tomorow my dad wont be pleased if he gets stuck here again, last time they came over we had all the snow now ash clouds

Hope you get a flight back soon marianne. My friend is in Benidorm and has been waiting for 3 days for a flight now.

I hope its all over before I go on holiday.

Arrived home last night via Birmingham airport

Off to Cumbria today to pick up our two doggies from our daughters, wont be back until tomorrow, I will tell you all about then

Thanks all, it was a nice break and a few more days were not a real problem, we were lucky as we were in a friends apartment and no one else was booked there until week after next so we had somewhere to stay
It was just not knowing how long we would be there and a lot of chasing about to get seats home.

Anyway I wont bore you all with the details, we went to Cumbria to collect our dogs in the cally, did 457 faultless miles round trip, a real pleasure to drive and ride in

We saw a white Opel cally parked up in Torremolinos in very nice condition, and saw another one in Whitehaven last night when we walked to the chip shop.

I took lots of pictures and when I have sorted them I will post a few up for you.
