radiator fan

Any electrical issues

radiator fan

I have just bought a 2.5 V6 (1995/N)
cally a month ago - the other day the heating stopped and then the car started to over heat and wouldn't cool down

is this to do with the relay switch or something else? like the fan dying. I've looked under the bonnet when the temp gets to 100' and neither of the fans come on (front or rear) but i haven't got a clue where either the fuse or the relay is for them - it's not in the fuse24 in the car as this model has air conditioning so Vauxhall have done there best to hide it from me

Any assistance you chaps could give would be greatly appreciated

found the problem - it was the thermostatic switch (at the bottom of the radiator on the drivers side) this had gone faulty

[/B][/U]REMEDY
just shorted the terminals to turn the fan on constanly when ignition is on
Don't worry have ordered the replacement part

Cheers all
