Bulb warning light
Ok the Bulb failure warning light keeps coming on when i turn on my lights(the bulbs are all fine). i tink its down to the lexus lights(black not crapy silver ones hehehe) and the dual filament bulb instead of the separate brake and rear light bulbs in the standard clusters. is there a way to fix this using resisters? and if so how?

had the same problem when i fitted mine easy to fix and you have the right idea if you run a wire off your side lights (1 wire from from each ) then join them together a run the wire to the back of your boot light you will run a new earth with is easy and problem solved this light will come on we you turn you side lights on with will pull enough feed for the warning light to go off.
hope this helps need anymore info just ask:D

and to answer macs question it run off the live wire of your side lights join it up then connect it to the boot light the run a new earth of the boot light to a good earth and there you go problem solved no more bulb warning light,
and you all ways could do what i did get another light from the scrap yard and fit it in you boot and wire that of the wires new disconected from the back of the boot light , so you still have a light when you open your boot
