Uneven Tyre wear

Can anyone please HELP?

1993 turbo 4x4

Bought my first cally about 6 weeks ago (No tax or MOT)so spent a few days getting it ready for the mot changed front pads, wishbones (split bushes), front springs (standard), inner cv joint, most of the brake and fuel lines and 4 new tyres.

The problems are the OS front tyre had worn quite bad on the inner egde and every time i hit a dip in the road the same tyre is catching on the wheel arch but it does'nt do it an a sharp bump.

When I went to pick the car up from the MOT to my shock and amazment it had passed so if an MOT did'nt pick anything up has anyone got any ideas?

only thing that springs to mind is your camber might be wonky?? Has your car been lowered at all? mind you, its a bit unusual for it just to wear on one tyre...i would get it checked anyway, i was going through a set of front tyres every three months, so had to get the tyres spun on the rims, so it wore almost evenly...got the camber checked when i put new alloys on, it was WAAAAAAAAAAAAY out, so its all sorted now

All shocks and springs are standard, If the camber angle is not correct how do you correct it? as it looks to me as if it is all set by the wishbone and leg with no manual way to adjust it.

Could it be that the shock on that side has gone a bit past its sell by date, although the old bounce test on the corner is fine and there are no signs of any leaks I have also checked the top mounts and they seem fine (no splits or cracks).

Get your wheel alignment checked. My tyre was worn on the inside and it was due the wheels not aligned properly.

I Checked the tracking out after I fitted the springs as I had to fit new track rod ends and everything is O.K .
