If your fuel comp is still showing the time then its not the fuse, You could ask Ian for advice about the fuel comp on here -

<a href="http://www.abs-zero.com/FCprogramming.htm" target="_blank">www.abs-zero.com/FCprogramming.htm</a>

just checked the page and its offline at the moment but try at a later time.

Reverse lights and auto box are not on the same fuse

Automatic transmission fuse number 16 - 10a
Reverse lamps fuse number 22 - 10a
Dont know if this helps you.

If you find you need a replacement fuel comp I have a few going spare. UNfortunately I can't help with your problem.

Did you figure it out? Just installed my FC from a Carlton CDX into my 8v. The buttons didn't fit, but read somwhere that the pin numbering was the same so got it wired up with spade connectors.

The FC only displays time, and does so well. I can set the minutes, button for hours gives no reaction. I can "activate" the clock. Other than that its dead, no reaction in top or "vertical display".

Anyone? I'm totally lost here.

if its got a little F in the corner, then its the fuse , i had a similar problem when i stuck an air inflator into the ciggerette lighter and it popped the fuse, its a 20 amp blue fuse and if u pull down the fuse box it shows where it goes

I found the problem to be a loose connection in the FC yellow socket. Soldered, now it works. ish. still need to get the chip to Ian and sort out the temp sensor.

Anyone know the pin-outs on the FC plug? I know I need a blue and blue/white lead - but theres tons on blue leads there.
