Read the ABS fault codes, you may have knocked a sensor when fitting the pads.

Have you replaced the wear indicators on the front pads?

Hi, Ok, Ive found out why my brake light is on !!
I had new pads about two weeks ago, and the Garage who fitted them had broke one of the Brake sencers :x
I went to the garage that done them , but the bloke who done mine dont work there no more so i have to go and pay £32 for some new ones again, only been on the car for 5 weeks.
I phoned Vaux up [Witch is where i bought them] And they said if i can find the receipt they will give me some new ones and fit them free as they come with a years waranty.
But i cant find the dame receipt .

So it was nothing to do with the ABS then?
Well at least its not too difficult to repair/fix the problem.

The abs light will still be on..
The pad wanning light was also on, but thats just the sencer.
The abs thing is something else.

well it sounds like you need to check the ABS sensor on the wheel both sides and the wiring, and the connector for damage

But the abs one is still on.

Before you rush in and spend heaps at the business end. Check the wiring back to the fuse box and anywhere in between. I had my mechanic telling me I needs new sensors, but my mate who is an auto spark chedked the fuse box and a few other places and sorted it in 15 minutes. Don't rush to judgement!
