cigarette/speed detector

hi im wanting to wire my speed camera detector straight in to the wiring in the cigarette lighter not just plug it in. the problem is i cant figure out which of the 3 wires is which. ie live/negative and so on. 2 of them are black and the other 1 is brown. any help would be good please.

Black = Live
Brown = Earth

i have 2 black wires next to each other!!!

Ok, one black wire is a live feed to the cigarette lighter, the other black wire goes to the bulb that lights up the cigarette lighter surround, and the brown wire is the earth.
if you follow the wires it is easy to see where they go [img]/smile.gif[/img]

black is switched live so is on when the ignition is on, brown is always ground
