wires behind fuesbox cut and taped?

i got bored today in my lunch break so i was playing with my screw driver......cutting a long story short........i decided to have a look at my immobliser because it dosent always turn off first time,so i took my fuse box out and noticed that there is a blue and red wire and a black wire and they have been cut and taped, blue wire from fuse block is connected to the black that go's behind the dash somewhere and the blue and red wire that comes from behind the dash is connected to the fuse box,(i think the blue and red wire from the fuse box comes from number 12 fuse),
so hear is the question ive been asking myself, shall i connect them back upproperly? (black to black- red and black to red and black),
the thing is i dont know what they do could they be for the immobliser,
i dont want to blow myself up and start a fire,

shall i go for it or not??

If you don't know what you are doing or what they are for then the answer is no. That's what an Auto Electrician is for.

It looks like you will have to trace them out individually and see where they go.
