Electric Sunroof Total Closure!
Has anyone managed to figure out how to get the sunroof in a calibra to do total closure or one-touch operation? I'm so impatient I can nevr be arsed to wait with my finger on the button when I pull up! (plus it'd look the danglies closing while I walk away from the old girl!)
Any help would be much appreciated,
Cheers

Hmmm.
SG-1.... you got a guide for us?!?
Icewizard.... what's your good idea? I promise nobody'll laugh!
16vopl..... you're not wrong it sounds easier than it is! I keep having brainwavs, but I keep thinking of little things that just won't bloody work properly about it!
I thought about timing circuits, but what of the roof is only half open? Will the motor burn out if it's held on at stall for too long? I dunno. I really want this feature, especially the remote bit! It's alll very well the windows goin up with the remote, but when you've got to sit there in the car while the sunroof is closing for ages then there's hardly any point!
A double pole, double change over double pulse timer circuit/relay would do the trick if the motor can survive the stall I reckon.
I await your expertise geezers!
