Brake pad warning light.
Just changed my discs and pads today. Low pad warning light still on. The rear pads look low. I didn't think there was a sensor on them?
When I changed them today I managed to snap one of the sensors on the front anyway. So just cut them off and tied them back out of the way. Might just take the bloody bulb out of the dash!

<!--QuoteBegin-Blossey+--><div class='quotetop'>(Blossey)</div><div class='quotemain'><!--QuoteEBegin-->No sensors on the rears. Local motor factors do them for a couple of quid or so if I remember correctly, do it now or it'll drive you crazy, and then you won't have to explain it everytime someone gets in your car!<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
LOL. Yeah done that 5 times already. Which is a ball ache when you try and convince someone with no knowledge of cars and the like that it's perfectly safe!

For a few quid you just get the connector wire from the inside of the wheel arch to the actual brake caliper, about 1 foot in length. This is the bit that needs replacing, its a simple connector and 'should' be all you need. Will check invoice when I'm home tonight and let you know how much.

I have had similar problems....just forked out for new discs and pads all round.
The pad sensors were £7.50 from my local car spares place.
Looking to fit them this weekend...and hope it gets rid of my TC cutting in.
Will be cleaning the cogs properly too.
Is there anything else I should be checking at the same time????

Fitted the new bits this weekend.....
New Calipers for the rear.
New discs all round with pads and pad sensors.
Cleaned up the front calipers and wire brushed the TC cogs, then finished them off with a few squirts of WD40.
All is now working prfectly and no TC or ABS lights at all!
