noticed a nasty burning smell front drivers side ,its not rubber ,the tyre is okay ,no belts are rubbing anywhere, the only thing i have noticed is an awful lot of brake dust on the alloy wheel, could it be my brake pads, they still seem to work okay and nothings making any grinding or unusal noises HELP PLEASE

May sound daft..but its not a small oil leak is it? I know that mine has a leak and smells of burning oil after a run?

Sounds like your caliper could be sticking. I've never had to strip one down yet so can't be of any help, sorry.

does the car pull to one side while driving or under brakeing? it might be the brakes binding on that wheel
