Fitting an ECU

Have just managed to get hold of a new ECU for my V6 (N reg).

Is this going to be a straight swop job or do I have to get it programmed for the immobiliser key fob thingy (can this be disabled?) if so how ?

I swapped my turbo ECU out and that made no difference...

cool sounds promising - take it it's a knuckle scraper of a job?

Nah it's easy. Pull off the plastic cover and it's 2 or 3 bolts (usually only 1 if it's been out previously). I've just taken mine out and sold it on and my newun goes in this weekend. Easy.
