Drilled &/or grooved discs

by joeraz » Sun Aug 07, 2005 5:17 pm

I have a feeling when she goes in for her MOT next week the its gona fail on the discs as they hav a rather large lip and scores round them but most places i look for discs list the same ones for all turbos 92-96,, im sure the post `95 cars had larger fronts.

any one confirm this and recommend good performing disc & pad package!

Cheers

IIRC Yes they did have larger discs (not sure whether it was front or rear though!)

Try LMF for a big 308mm conversion.

Very very well priced and you get all the stuff for around the same price as standard sized grooved/drilled discs and pads!

ok, i looked at there site and the upgrade package looks good but it baffles me

"Upgrade this kit with the awesome new Irmscher 308mm drilled & vented discs and/or EBC Greenstuff Pads - please select from the drop-down list below.

This kit is suitable only for the later Calibra V6 and Turbo models with 288mm front discs. It is NOT suitable for the early models with 284mm front discs.

17 inch minimum wheel diameter required. "

i am thinking that early models means youngest post `95

Just slap me
