Lowering
Springs or full kit?
Trying to decide how to go about some lowering. I'm running on 16's with 55mm tyres and am not planning to go any bigger. Not sure whether to do it just on springs or go for the full kit. I've got the cash now to get the spring kit and I'm an impatient sod.
Anybody got any advice? How much should I pay to have the kit fitted?

Full kit. Springs alone can make the car "see saw" and generally handle badly.

lowering springs offer only looks and a stiffer ride, nothing more nothing less. But because the shock absorber is not designed to work with a 30/40mm lowering spring then the suspension travel will end up soon.
To have a proper suspension you need to change and the shocks as well to suit with the lower springs.

I have found this! I only went for the springs and KNOW that i need to upgrade the shocks, the only problem is getting hold of the darn things for the V6, no one sells them!!
I have found that many extras, wheels etc are sold for the V6 and the Turbo, however the lowering springs for my car came boxed as the turbo springs but i am sure that the V6 is heavier at the front, Bonus is it looks great nice and low!!! The shocks do need addressing as the the back is like a boat, have seen threads talking about the nylon bushes helping out but where can i get V6 shocks (lowered car) from??
