Fuel Computer Switch Problems
I've got hold of a fuel computer from a Cav and after a bit of struggling with me glovebox, found the yellow plug and fitted it to the dash....sweet!
Took the rear section of the centre console out and plugged the swith into it correct place at the end of the yellowish block. Only trouble is there is nothing to connect it to.
Did Vx stick the other end of the loom up under the gear stick or do I have to get a new bit of a loom? ie is the fuel comp loom normally in two bits and I have to get the lower section fitted?
Any clues??

IIRC you cannot take the centre console without removing the fascia, Ashtray etc. Then you will see the screws. You may have to take the shroud off the steering Wheels first to get to all the screws then the platic around the speed and the heater panel screws and the Ashtray and then you should be able to move it out.

been reading an article on CAVWEB and apparently I should have a plug in the passenger footwell that I can connet directly too, just had a look and can't find one. Is there a large connector near the ECU (they mention that alot too) if so where is the ECU (LMAO) on an SE8 can't find anything in the passenger footwell or the drivers one either

Couldn't find the lower part of the loom but I had a look on CAVWEB and found a few how-to guides that I pieced together enough info to 'doctor' the large plug in the passenger footwell. Now it works!!!! Just got to get the bl**dy thing calibrated!
Thanks for your help on this one guys!!
