my fan packed up this week and today i got it out and put a 12v dc to it and it spun up so the problem is not the fan checked the all the fuses not sure which fuse does what (the panel is very confusing) just wondering if the circuit is controlled by a relay, i am going to test the switch help please

the switch is attached to the radiator and is a reasonably common fault

sorry not the cooling fan the on that gets air into the cabin

You should have an overide switch to your back, just put a switch on a 2nd earth (although my fan is left on all the time to keep it nice and cool.)

you mean the blower for the cabin heater/air con. does it work on any speed?

no but the fan still works i have put 12v to it and it spun up i can get a 12v reading on one of the wires in the plug but i cant remember what colour it was but its position on the plug was where x is below bad text drawing

cheers will look the fan was making a horible noise but as it spins on 12v thinking it was the switch
