Calibra's DO have hearts (limp mode)

by Robert_Dale » Sun Aug 28, 2005 6:42 pm

I decided (after a lot of thinking) to put my calibra up for sale....it didn't want to go and decided to show me how much to keep it by doing the following:

Breaking its alternator (got a new 100amp one from the scrappy for £30 [img]/smile.gif[/img] )
snapped its rear drivers side spring!!

and is now in limp mode - when i replaced the alternator i think i may have knocked something getting code:

21 - throttle sensor - high voltage

any ideas what could be wrong - i have reset the ECU (disconnected the battery) and its still in limp mode?

Please help [img]/smile.gif[/img]

Oh and i am keeping her now [img]/smile.gif[/img]

High voltage could be a break in the circuit. Check the wiring to the throttle sensor.
