URGENT - help-please - no power to the dash

by niggy0 » Wed Aug 31, 2005 8:42 pm

Just fit a new fuel pump relay to the car - But when I put my key in the ignition the car will start - but no dash board lights will come on nor will the speedo, rev counter, oil temp or fuel gauge function.
The voltage gauge, oil pressure and stereo dont work either
However the dash illumination does with the lights on, as does the center console back lights (heater fan etc) these are on constantly when the key is in the ignition - without the lights on........ the battery is lit up when the car is running as well
Did take the battery off when I changed the Ecu a couple of weeks ago - but have not ran the car since then (due to fuel pump relay)

It is the correct ecu and the correct fuel pump relay (both from Vx)

can any one help ......please.....................
