Mystery Wires

Guys..

I took me car to bits to resolve a clutch cable issue, and found these two wires tucked away in the dash not leading to anything.

Any ideas what they are please ?

The fact that there wraped in yellow tells me it's the airbag system, have you removed an airbag sterring wheel at some point?

I dunno whats supposed to be standard or not, my steering wheel looks like my old Astra GTE one, but its got Turbo written in the middle of the wheel.

I was wonderin if it could be sommat to do with my Trip Computer that isnt working.

Hiya Kenny.

Yeah mate am gettin a small F next to the time on the display and nothing else works [img]/sad.gif[/img] thing is, my fuel gauge isnt workin on dash either, I think I need a new sender in the fuel tank or something and I was hopin the trip computer would work so it could tell me what miles was left in tank.

I replaced the wires for the switch that operates the computer, ya know, that two button thingy, and still no joy, I think maybe its a defective unit ?

Still got clutch cable probs in the form of, I cant get the end plastic nut that goes on the cable engine side, I went to Vauxhall this morning, and he said he wasnt prepared to order just one, and you have to order in bulk, so for me to get one plastic nut, I have to order and pay for 10 ! I never heard nowt so stupid in all me life, so am writing me formal letter of complaint this morning.

I cant believe the nut that fits on the end of the clutch cable is 7mm... is there even such a thing as a 7mm nut ? lol.
