How many sensors are there??

by Sackie » Sun Oct 02, 2005 10:46 pm

Im looking into getting my C20LET overhauled and put back in tip top condition, Im gonna do it myself, I know a little about mechanics so I just need to know all the niggly bits. Im going to replace all of the sensors so if you could give me a list of them, that would be good, plus any tips as Im gonna strip it completly.

Prices would be nice, what would I be looking at, am gonna get it cleaned up n all. I want it spick and span for when it goes back in I might get a painted??. Im gonna clean the engine bay aswell as it looks like a previous engine blew up in there as there is oil everywhere, or could that be waxoil?? Not sure anyhow, its gonna be clean I tell ya!

Cheers guys

Simon

Personally i wouldnt replace all the sensors if the engine is running fine its just unecessary cost, I totally rebuilt my engine and replaced the clutch water pump timing belt and tensioners etc etc but not the sensors and my engine runs perfectly fine no problems

But if you still want to change them its gonna cost a small fortune!!!
Well thats my opinion anyway
