Running the standard stuff on the boat at the mo, what kits would ppl recommend if any, wouldnt mind top adjustables tbh depends on costs, should I get the shocks and then seperate front/rear springs as I've heard storys of ppl fitting a "Kit" but having an uneven looking car due to the back not sitting down...

For some reason the turbo's all tend to lean forwards slightly, when standard and when lowered...

There are very few adjustable kits, but the Spax one is around £330 IIRC, whereas the usual springs and shocks are around £220 (Avo and Koni are excellent), and finally the lowering springs about £110 per set.

Koni adjustable shocks and eibach springs are a very good set-up IMO.

Arguably the best kit... but really £200 better than a decent springs/shocks combo? I'd say unless you're going to be doing some serious track days and getting your money's worth not to bother.

I'm sure you are already aware but things like anti-roll bar links etc... are often overlooked in favour of lowering kits. Worth checking them all out along with the bushes (again sure you've already done this )

The ARB links are getting done this weekend as are the wishbones..

At the end of the day its a 12 year old car and its done 130k so anythings going to be better, not so bothered about dropping it too much just want to tighten it up a bit hence the adjustables then I can get it to where I want it, maybe get a set of -30 springs as I dont really wanna lower it but standard springs will most likely make it sit up as the old ones will have sagged by now...

Great stuff - it should all make a difference especially if the ARB links were broken. Try www.tuning.co.uk for different kits (inc Bilstein) or Roadrunner.

It's easy to get the car to sit level, just fill the boot with about 40 kilos of mdf and subwoofers.

Mines on -40mm Gmax shocks and springs and does sit level, no ICE in the boot either.
