trip cpu prob

hi everyone merry xmas to y'all.
ever since i had my new gear box put on my trip cpu has gone funny/
when i am low on fuel or the temperature drops below freezin it tells me correctly but all the other functions are goin all freaky. the two buttons near hand brake that usually operate it do not respond at all makin it impossible to re set according to the manual.
when my garage disconnected battery was when the trouble started does anyone know if there is anythin i can do to reset. please help.

The button not responding may be a break in the wiring. See if you can lever the button out to check.

Oil level sensor is in front of the sump as you face the car. It just unscrews, but be careful you will lose a bit of oil.

thanx when people say its stuck does this mean you can free it or is it time to replace

The oil level sensor? It has holes in it and these can get blocked up. You can try cleaning it up to see if it helps.

is your car chipped, if so does this have any other positive effects other than the bhp and torque increases

it gets rid of flat spots too, but for the turbo there are many different stages of chipping

i was thinking of getting stage one with courtnay but savin for some suspension 1st oh and the original prob id sorted now somehow the cpu control plug had been pulled out so im working again however i got another prob now. bollox
