are they supposed to be completely straight. or have a slight bend to them. mine are slighly bent, so i bought some off ebay which are dead straight. i also ordered some new track rod ends, and they will not fit on the arms that i bought. the thread is diff

How much different? I once bought some track rod ends and they wouldnt go on far enough for it to track up! The thread on them was not far enough in.

eh just one wee thing ...and some people dont know this, so sorry if you do

track rod ends are sided and one will have reverse thread on it ...like you put it on as if you where unscrewing it (anti clockwise)

as said above one side is left hand thread. and as far as i know all steering arms on calibra/cavy have a slight bend in them

thanks for the info. the arms i bought off ebay i found out were for a mk2 astra. same dimensions, just a very slight difference with the thread (finer)

calibra have the same track rods as the cavalier as it uses the same suspension adn a lot of other things.
