where can i get them for (cheapest) and do they come with the abs rings attached??

Got a quote off autovaux for £45 a few weeks ago. Thought it was abit steep so I'm still looking around aswell

I bought mine from Vaux direct, was cheapest, and they also come with abs rings as you have to specify what type you need.

I've replaced a number of cv joints in the past and I've never had one that didn't come with an abs ring (unless it was an inner one obvioulsy but you know what I mean).

Never pay more than £30 for a cv joint. As said in the other post, I normally pay £25-£30 for one joint but just £50 for a complete assembled shaft including both joints and pre-machine sealed cv boots. Just check with a few local motor factors.

Err......count them!

It'll be quite obvious. From what I can remember there is either gonna be 29 or 43 teeth so even if you miss count, the difference is big enough for you to know which one it should be.

yep as suggested above, you just have to count them. Start from one side and then start counting. If you go past the lower number then you know you have the bigger one. So u won't need to count to the end [img]/wink.gif[/img]
