Another wheels question

by robs_cal » Sun Jan 01, 2006 12:20 pm

I know this has been asked a load of times, but I have done a search and just need a simple question answered:sleep:

Im looking at 18's for my V6 with an offset of 40 and tyre size of 215/35

Just to confirm, the PCD is 5x110mm right? I shouldn't have any rubbing issues if I fit these wheels to the standard right height should I, and what amount of lowering could I get away with?

Again, sorry to ask but I just want to check the above offset will be fine.

Cheers

Go for 7" or 7.5" with 8's they can rubb on full lock.

I won't go any lower than 30mm.
Mark...........It's Red........It's a V6............It's an SE9!..............and She's bad.

Offset is OK. As Mark said, I wouldn't go wider then 7.5".
With the correct J, you can get away with lowering up to 40mm (uprated shocks and springs).
