Cliffnet Wizard Guys

alright fellas,

Just connected up my laptop to my clifford alarm today.

But getting error 2 : unable to locate serielxx file on all com ports...

Anyone got this program working?!

Wish I could help mate but sounds like your one step ahead of me. Cliffnet wizards only runs on windows which is no good for me.

My Concept500 is playin up like mad. Really need to get it seen to again. I've fleeced these guys a few times for info on these alarms and I don't blame people for not wanting to get involved, they're a nightmare.

I can however recomend Cat1 Security if you wanna get it seen to. They're over by the Manchester City Stadium on the end of Ancoats Street. Well, when I said reccomend, they weren't the most chatty of peops but they didn't screw me over.

does this missing serial file stop you from accessing the the entire system?

yeh i just saying it can't connect - i can go into offline mode, but that's pretty useless!

i just wanna increase the proxie warn away bubble around the car - doesn't beep until you hug the car lol

Dan you can increase this via the remote in a special install mode, I will try and dig out the manual and scan it in for you.
I used to have probs with the old cliffnet wizzard, but the new one runs under xp and it connects alright on mine. sorry thats no help.

Be sensible with the prox sensor though. I think nowadays, the kind of KIDS robbing our motors will only fight back if your car tell them to p1$$ off.

lol - got the cable working today - but i've only got the normal cliffnet wizard and that doesn't have controls for proxy sensers.

is good stuff tho can play around with loads of settings - i just want the proxie up!!!

anywhere i can get/buy pro?

Just out of interest how did you get the program working? I have been having the same problem of it going through the 4 comm ports and then saying it can't find the alarm systemCheers

Had a quick look the other night for that manual with no joy, will have another go tonight, pretty sure I have it already scanned in somewhere.
