V6 wiring ??

Just put a v6 motor in to a corsa out of another corsa which was wrote off, didnt think to look at the wring b4 i ripped it out and now ive forgot what goes where, u guys probs know on my main ecu plug 3 bunch of wires come of it.... a green plug a purple plug and a black plug with 1 wire in it, and my fuel relay plug does any one know where these wires go on the v6 so i can locate or also know as bodge them in somewhere thanks guys ............

i cant find anywhere which will tell me what them 3 little plugs are........

Take a look at this page:

About half way down there's a pinout diagram for the main ECU plug.
Trace the wires from the three plugs you mention back to the ECU and work out what they're for that way.

i dont need fault codes i need to locate 3 plugs i need to find out where they plug in to on a v6 as mine are dangerling down in the middle of no where,

Halfway down the fault code page is a pinout diagram of the main ECU plug.
My suggestion is to use this and work out where the three connectors are supposed to connect to by tracing the wires back from the three connectors to the main ECU plug. Once you have worked this out you will know what they are supposed to connect to.

You could also try posting pics of the three connectors to see if anyone recognises them and where they are supposed to go to.

ill take pics tonight...... i can remember a little back box behind the ecu with a few little plugs in it....

the black ring is the 3 plugs i dont know where they go this IS off the V6 wiring NOT of the corsa it branches off the main ecu plug and come down with the fuel relay any ideas guys ?

The fuel relay is behind the drivers kick panel, so might be a good idea to look there [img]/smile.gif[/img]

thanks m8 but its in a corsa now so its going to be in different place's

been told something about and ign live black wire from a plug near gearbox ? what controls ecu light pump and coil i might not have this connected any ideas?

Sorry mate to be honest i dont have a clue, Do you know anyone local with a V6 cally to have a look at.
