Front wheels rubbing!... Help?

by Johnny » Sat Mar 18, 2006 4:44 pm

i've fitted an Apex 30mm suspension kit, the rides a bit rough, which was expected, but under medium/harsh cornering the front wheels rub on the arches, i've got 205,40,17 tyres but i'm not sure of the offset.... Any Ideas???

You need to check the offset of your wheels - they could be the cause.

Yeah, it sounds like the off set. Mine has been dropped 40 mm with 18's and I have no problem.

to answer your question drop links are the ends of the anti-roll bar which fit into the lower suspension arms, often the bolt shears and you have no anti-roll, this should make a noise however when you corner
