removing headlight switch

How do i get the headlight switch out? tried pulling it but it didnt budge. is there any knack to it?

pull the switch forward as if you were putting on the interior light, underneath there is a small hole. Insert similar sized screw driver/nail into said hole. This will release the restraining clips and the unit can be removed.
