time and a lot ov paitence is the best way to get em off without damaging em or the metal pipe they attach to...problem is the rust up badly, all i did when i fitted me goodrige ones was to soak em with plus gas or wd40 will do it you can get an 11mm spanner on the metal pipe an grip the metal sleeve on the end ov the flexi with mole grips or if you can get a spanner on do it that way and just slowly work it loose keep soaking with plusgas and slowly they should come free without damage

I replaced the full pipe from abs unit to the caliper, very easy actually, once the pipe is out you can slacken the retarding valve very easily with a vice, i also got myself an 'easy bleed' tool, £25 from motor factor, makes bleeding the system a doddle.

yeah i got one ov them self bleed bottles, dead handy an it saved the missus a job ov pumping the pedal...my back pipes where well rusted up so i just replaced the pipe as well its only a short peice into the rear caliper an them goodridge hoses look well nice...mind you i had a pain getting rear ones to fit i ended up getting some made to order coz the ones you get in the kit dont fit as the union that joins the main pipe is too small an you cant get the retaining clip to hold it in.....its probs like that which make the job that bit harder....
