Goodridge braided hoses

I have got standard brakes and I can't afford new ones so was wondering if the goodridge stainless steel braided brakes hose kit would help improve braking at all when using standard brakes?

standard hoses have a bit of give whereas the braided hoses dont stretch and put more pressure to the brakes i have them brakes was the first mod i done change to dot5.1 brake fluid it. it dosnt like water like other brake fluids do

thought dot5.1 was really only for racing applications? and there could be issues with water in there?? or something like that

it will improve braking feel, reduce the squashyness of the brake pedal, but does not really have much effect on perfomance. the disks and pads are still the same and do the same job the same way :/

dot 4 will soak up water dot 5.1 is silicone based and will repel water

dot4 normal cheap brake fluid
dot5 is aimed at storing cars
dot 5.1 has the same spec as dot4 but is silicone based

you will have a slight improvement in pedal feel and braking performance as more of your pedal pressure is being turned into braking pressure

well you learn something new every day.knew there was something bout dot5 and water (pooling). u gota just love the net, beats trawling through books anyday
