alarm not workin

ok cldnt find the relays, but did press the pet button and we now have the led working. basically, it flashes slowly for a few secs, then goes into a crazy flashing mode. locked someone in the car, they move around and alarm dont sound, they unlock it from inside and again, no alarm noise. any ideas?

Are you supposed to have a key fob for these alarms? Never bothered looking at them in either of my cali's?

Or are they set when you lock the car?

Is there a way to test it?

Calibra's dont come with key fobs for locking and switching the alarm on, thats an aftermarket kit.

Use this guide but short out pins A & H with a paperclip or bit of wire [img]/smile.gif[/img]

do u just count the flashes on the sensor LED? will it do 1 fault, pause and move on, or how does it work?

ok i get 1 flash, pause, 2 flash, pause, 1 flash, pause, 2 flash........then im pretty sure it went 3 flash, pause, 2 flash, pause... so that points to boot. where do i go from here?

all sorted, nothing wrong with it, just its not set off by the ways we tried, leave bonnet open when u activate it and it goes off
